The Reverend William F. Wingo is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He serves as the Pastor of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Centreville, Maryland. He is married to Juanita G. Wingo who is also an ordained elder in the A.M.E. Church. The Reverends Wingo have four children: Kelly, William, Joshua, and Grace.

Reverend Wingo is a graduate of the famed Baltimore City College class of '67. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Human Growth and Development from Sojourner-Douglas College. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was cited in Black Excellence as one of the 1989 graduates of Black colleges and universities who have excelled. As his Sojouner-Douglas internship, Reverend Wingo established "Don't C.U.S.S., Inc. (Christians United Against Cursing), a speech and image consultant ministry that works with youth, churches, organizations and businesses to increase the awareness of the power of positive communications. He is pursuing a Masters of Arts in Theology at St. Mary's Seminary and University.

As founder and publisher of Baltimore's premier church magazine, The "Power" Magazine, Reverend Wingo has established this Christian Informational News Calendar as a vehicle of information and spiritual power to let the world know what the church is doing. Reverend Wingo is fulfilling the vision that God gave him eleven years ago to publish the word that the church is thriving and doing the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In year 2000 "The "Power Magazine circulated its 11th Anniversary issue to the community. The 'Power" Magazine serves the Harford County and Cecil County, Baltimore City and Baltimore County, and Howard County areas of Maryland and the Washington DC area.

Reverend Wingo has served as the President of the Baltimore and vicinity A.M.E. Ministerial Alliance. He took charge of this established organization representing over 60 churches with fresh vision and unbridled enthusiasm to bring a new movement of the Holy Spirit to the Baltimore and vicinity A.M.E. Ministerial Alliance, an Alliance rich in history and tradition of the A.M.E. church.

As a man on a mission, Reverend Wingo is a visionary, a devoted family man, a preacher and a poet, a shepherd who loves the Lord and believes in pressing towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
